Match  between my favorite nation and my favorite footballing nation Japan Vs Germany

Stadium: Khalifa International Stadium

Japanese are the best and most respectable and responsible fans! It was fascinating to see them coming with trash bags and cleaning up their premises before they leave. They left so happily because they caused another big upset of the Word Cup, coming back from 1 goal down in first half to 2 late goals! I was happy for them, honestly. 

German team made headlines with their protest of covering their faces during the team photo session, which i felt was uncalled for! 


I used the metro to reach the station; Awesome vibes at the station



With the Musicians on the fan-zone!





What a vibe at the metro stations: its all celebrations, music and dance!

     

 This time I got the best of the seat; so very close to the ground!

89 Class Artificers and the ‘Get-Together Saga’ I belong to this wonderful group of people from pan India; Simply we are known as 89- That’s it! We are the 89 th class of Artificers who joined the Indian Navy as Apprentices in Jan 1987. Since then, we together have completed training, active service and eventually retired after completing the contracted defense service period.   Originally, we were 225- but now reduced to 214; missing 11 have left for heavenly abode earlier than expected. Out of the 214, few are non-reachable as they have ‘deserted’ from Navy long back, and lost their whereabouts, sadly! Much later to our retirement and thanks to the social media revolution, we started communicating with each other, again through various platforms.   89 Class Artificers and the ‘Get-Together Saga’ - Part 3. On 30 th Aug, by noon time, the 'supposedly' air-conditioned bus reached the accommodation to transport us to Araku Valley. It will pass through the Airport to pick up the last group. Journey to Araku Valley is incredibly picturesque, offering stunning views along the way- if only, someone has peeped through the windows!   The road is filled with numerous hairpin bends   which add a sense of adventure to the trip. The weather was wonderfully pleasant and ‘sexy’. Occasional fog and the light drizzles frequently occurred should have added a refreshing touch to the atmosphere—  As the 'charging' continued on the bus, too, everyone was engaged!
