  Dear Ron. Back in December 2012, we walked into this building together, and since then, we’ve shared a workspace for so many years. Honestly, the time we’ve spent here feels like more than what I’ve had with some of my closest family members. Together, we’ve witnessed the most dramatic changes—batons of leadership passing hands, countries making peace, World Cups coming and going (and now another one just around the corner)… yet through it all, we remained glued to our chairs and screens like loyal employees of the "Office Furniture Appreciation Society", weathering many storms and climate shifts. The experiences we’ve shared have been truly tremendous and unforgettable. These were surely some of the best days, but always remember—better days are on their way, and they’re waiting for you to grab them with both hands. 1950-60 കാലത്ത്, പാലക്കാട് മുണ്ടൂരിലെ വിശ്വകർമ സമുദായത്തിലെ തട്ടാന്മാരും ആശാരിമാരും, തണ്ടാന്മാരും ഒക്കെ    ഒരു കുഞ്ഞു  പ്രദേശത്തിൽ ഒരുമിച്ചു ആയിരുന്നു താമസിച്ചു പോന്നിരുന്നത്. സ്വർണപണി കുലത്തൊഴിൽ ആയി ചെയ്തു പോന്നിരുന്ന തട്ടാന്മാർ താമസിക്കുന്ന ദേശം, തട്ടാത്തറ എന്നും ആശാരിമാർ താമസിച്ചു പോന്ന ദേശം ആശാരിത്തറ എന്നും വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ചിലയിടങ്ങളിൽ കമ്മാന്തറ എന്നും. തറയിൽ,  കുറെ അധികം  ചേട്ടാനിയന്മാരുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങൾ ഒരുമയോടെ ജീവിച്ചു പോന്നു - കുടുംബ ഭഗവതി മന്ദത്ത് ദേവിയുടെ അനുഗ്രഹത്താൽ! ഇവരുടെ വീടുകൾക്ക് ഇടയിൽ, അതിരുകളോ  വേലികളോ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല...!  മൂന്നോ നാലോ വീടുകൾക്ക് ഒരു നടുമുറ്റം മാത്രം. കുറേ വീടുകൾക്ക് ഒരു കിണർ മാത്രം. വീട്ടിൽ TV ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാൽ ,  കിണറ്റിൻ കര     പ്രാദേശിക വാർത്ത പ്രക്ഷേപണ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ ആയി...കുട്ടികൾ എല്ലാരും ഒരുമിച്ചു പഠിച്ചു കളിച്ചു, ഉള്ളത് പങ്ക് വെച്ച് തിന്നു വളർന്നു. ഇവരുടെ എല്ലാരുടെയും വീട്ടു പേര്,  "മന്ദത്ത് പറമ്പ്". തട്ടാൻ ശ്രീ അരുണാചലം കാരണവർ ആയിരുന്ന കുടുംബത്തിലെ, മൂന്ന് സഹോദരങ്ങൾ ആയിരുന്നു, അപ്പുക്കുട്ടനു...

  89 Class Artificers and the ‘Get-Together Saga’ - Part 5-the Conclusion- Saga continues..! After we all returned from the Pinery, it was time for pre-lunch drinks and swimming pool masthi followed by the Lunch.! Swimming pool masthi is an unavoidable component of any 89 Get-Together! A swimming pool or any water body, where people can plunge into is a checkbox item, mandated for the Get-Together! Splashing around in the waters along with pre-lunch drinks is a great way to have fun and rejuvenate.
