 Dear Ron.

Back in December 2012, we walked into this building together, and since then, we’ve shared a workspace for so many years. Honestly, the time we’ve spent here feels like more than what I’ve had with some of my closest family members.

Together, we’ve witnessed the most dramatic changes—batons of leadership passing hands, countries making peace, World Cups coming and going (and now another one just around the corner)… yet through it all, we remained glued to our chairs and screens like loyal employees of the "Office Furniture Appreciation Society", weathering many storms and climate shifts.

The experiences we’ve shared have been truly tremendous and unforgettable. These were surely some of the best days, but always remember—better days are on their way, and they’re waiting for you to grab them with both hands.

You will be deeply missed, but this is not goodbye—we’ll stay in touch. Wishing you all the success and happiness in your next chapter!

It was always hard to find your picture in the group because you were the one behind the scenes (and behind the lens). Hope this one here will bring back those good old memories and make you smile.

89 Class Artificers and the ‘Get-Together Saga’ I belong to this wonderful group of people from pan India; Simply we are known as 89- That’s it! We are the 89 th class of Artificers who joined the Indian Navy as Apprentices in Jan 1987. Since then, we together have completed training, active service and eventually retired after completing the contracted defense service period.   Originally, we were 225- but now reduced to 214; missing 11 have left for heavenly abode earlier than expected. Out of the 214, few are non-reachable as they have ‘deserted’ from Navy long back, and lost their whereabouts, sadly!   In T ribute to Kargil Vijay Diwas! On this Vijay Diwas, the 25th Anniversary of the Kargil victory, the Nation pays tribute to the brave soldiers who exhibited extraordinary courage and resilience in extremely challenging conditions on the Kargil Sector.  527 brave sons of Mother India made their supreme sacrifice for Her honor!   Hundreds were injured, many with permanently disabling injuries.   89 Class Artificers and the ‘Get-Together Saga’ - Part 4 - Growing Memories 31 Aug – 2 nd Day! Woke up early, thanks to Sanjay Prasad Gairola’s relentless calls. With a slight drizzle, it was a perfect time for a morning walk and explore the countryside of Arakku neighborhood. After a roadside morning coffee, we, along with PB Sushildas, walked across the railway line  to the paddy fields, soaked in the morning freshness and breathed some pure air. The day was going to be filled with hectic activities as per the plans. After the typically relishing Andhra breakfast with idli, sambhar, chutney vada and pongal everyone started gathering in the dining and reception area, wearing the newly designed personalized T shirts and 89 shorts.
